Janice Madon

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Janice Madon takes the lead in establishing Blumont Annuity’s goals, setting its strategy and delivering on its commitments. Her professional training, strong financial background and extensive career experience provide her with a sophisticated yet practical perspective on the intersection of finance, risk and business opportunity.

Janice has a remarkable track record for driving growth and profitability. She joined Blumont Annuity as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) before becoming President and Chief Operating Officer. Her prior experience includes working as a Senior Advisor to Brookfield Asset Management and serving as Executive Vice President and CFO at Manulife Canada, where she played a pivotal role in a $4 billion acquisition and in recognizing and implementing opportunities to improve operational efficiency and resource management.

Trained as a Chartered Accountant and recognized as an FCPA, FCA, the highest distinction granted in the CPA profession, Janice spent several years with one of the world’s largest accounting and professional services firms.

She is a director on several corporate boards and on the board of governors at one of Canada’s top international independent schools.
