Jaqui Parchment

Jaqui brings her background as a pension specialist and her experience as a corporate leader, notably as the former CEO of Mercer Canada, to the Board of Blumont Annuity Company. She has a comprehensive understanding of the investment and insurance sectors, human resources and benefits issues, and proven skills in identifying, assessing, mitigating and managing enterprise risks. Her breadth of knowledge will support Blumont Annuity’s management of pension risk on behalf of clients and help contribute to annuitants’ retirement security and peace of mind.

Jaqui also sits on the boards of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, the Canadian Olympic Committee and the BlackNorth Initiative. A noted advocate for diversity and inclusion, particularly in Canada’s corporate sector, she is an advisor to the Black Diplomats Academy and is a member of the Black Experience @ SickKids. Jacqui holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo and earned her Associates designation from the Society of Actuaries. She has attained her Chartered Financial Analyst designation and her ICD.D designation.
