Lyndsay Hatlelid

Lyndsay Hatlelid is Managing Director and General Counsel of Brookfield Wealth Solutions. In this role, she provides strategic and legal advice across Brookfieldʼs insurance solutions business and has oversight of legal, compliance and risk activities within the group.
Lyndsay was previously responsible for legal and transaction execution within Brookfieldʼs private equity group. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2017, she was a lawyer at a leading Canadian law firm, where her practice focused on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity.
Lyndsay holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Queenʼs University, and also serves on the boards of Sagen MI Canada Inc. (formerly Genworth Canada) and Brookfield Wealth Solutions’ reinsurance subsidiary, North End Re.
