Ali Khan

As an entrepreneur and a high-impact digital transformation executive with one of Canada’s largest insurance companies, Ali Khan has led significant client experience design and operations improvement initiatives. Ali joined Blumont Annuity Company in 2022 as the Vice President of Business Transformation, with a focus on scaling its technology and processes to support the rapid growth in business, and this will remain a priority in his new role as Chief Operating Officer.

In less than a decade, Blumont Annuity has emerged as a front-runner in Canada’s pension risk transfer business. This rapid growth presents an opportunity to use best-in-class technology and processes to establish Blumont Annuity as a market leader in customer care.

Coupled with a hands-on knowledge of pension plans and benefits administration, Ali brings invaluable expertise in scaling insurance operations. With a deep-rooted passion for innovation, he has a track record of delivering results by collaborating with leaders through periods of significant growth and change.

Ali holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg-Schulich, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the University of Michigan and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Schulich School of Business.

As an immigrant to Canada, Ali believes strongly in giving back to the community. He dedicates time to teaching, mentoring and advocating for new Canadians, including leading a community group that sponsors refugees. He has served on charitable boards, and he and his family actively support Campfire Circle, a non-profit oncology camp offering Canadian summer camp experiences to children affected by serious illnesses.
